About Me

I grew up in a small town in Minnesota with a great family. I went camping, fishing, played sports, and probably a few too many video games. Like many young millennials, my life took a turn after I was slowly exposed to more intense forms of pornography. I struggled with lust and acting out for over 15 years, before I hit rock bottom and had to face the severe consequences of my unhealed struggle. Before that, I had tried many "parts" of recovery: accountability partners, online filters, alternative phones, counseling, spiritual direction, intensives for sexual addiction, recovery groups, many desperate prayers, and read several books on how to get free. After seeming to exhaust my options, my heart slowly gave way to despair. ​

It wasn't until I fully surrendered myself to the recovery process that I began to find healing and transformation. From my experience in recovery, I began to formulate the map that led me to deeper freedom. I named this path, the Narrow Way. After years of sobriety and recovery work using this method, I took the next step to transmit the gift I had been given. I started this coaching service to bring men through this process of restoration. ​My approach to recovery for every man is unique. I curate a dynamic recovery program based on your past experiences and present situation.

As a Catholic, I am steeped in the tradition and prayer of Christian history. Additionally, I have studied the work of Dr. Patrick Carnes, Dr. Peter Kleponis, Dr. Doug Weiss, Dr. Bob Schuchts and Dr. Mark Laaser. All of these men have influenced my practice.  So has my experience with therapists and coaches who specialize in sexual addiction, 12 step programs, and ultimately, the working of the Holy Spirit.

The Narrow Way is based out of Minnesota, and I primarily provide coaching through phone calls. I am open to accepting clients of all faith backgrounds, including none.

I am married with a beautiful young daughter. My lovely wife and I are excited about the mission of the Narrow Way and to bring the love of Christ to all we meet. We have an active faith life which consists of leading small groups at our parish, attending daily mass, and fostering a personal prayer life.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, watching sporting events, eating ice cream, playing board games and of course fishing.

My prayer for you

O Holy Spirit, send your fire of love upon this man that his heart and mind would be transformed and renewed by your eternal grace. Anoint him with the oil of gladness. Ignite in him the spirit of hope and peace. Let his face turn to you heavenly Father and be radiant, that shame would not prevail over him. Guide his steps in the way of peace. May your precious Blood cleanse him from all iniquity and cause his heart to cry, "Abba, Father!" You know him and you love him. Grant him courage to step onto the water, faith to keep his eyes on you, and hope to always come back to you, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
